AI Agents Don’t Just Need More Context. They Need Evidence

Enterprise AI has become obsessed with giving agents more context.
But more information doesn’t necessarily produce better decisions.
Stack Overflow’s new Stack Internal evaluates enterprise knowledge using signals such as provenance, recency, expertise, corroboration and human validation.
That points to a bigger problem.
Retrieval answers what information an agent can find. Governance determines what information it should trust.
That distinction becomes critical when agents move from answering questions to taking actions.
Technology does not create business value. Better decisions do.
