About Keith
I write about the decisions behind enterprise AI.
DecisionFirst AI is my independent publication about AI strategy, architecture, governance, security, and the choices that turn investment into measurable outcomes.
I have worked with technology partners and business leaders through hundreds of strategic engagements spanning business strategy, sales, engineering, emerging technologies, and services. That breadth of experience shaped DecisionFirst AI: define the decision, work backward to the capabilities, then measure whether execution changed the outcome.
How I evaluate AI decisions
- Translate broad AI ambition into an accountable business decision.
- Connect strategy to the architecture and operating controls required for production.
- Examine how business, technical, security, and human choices affect outcomes.
- Examine outcomes and evidence, beyond activity or adoption alone.
Areas of focus
- Enterprise AI strategy, governance, investment decisions, and operating models
- AI factories, accelerated infrastructure, data delivery, applications, APIs, identity, runtime security, resilience, and observability
- How AI changes roles, human judgment, and accountability at work
- Articles, research commentary, and a self-service AI decision tool
Point of view
AI is making information easier to access. It is not making judgment automatic. The advantage is shifting from having information to knowing how to evaluate it, challenge it, and apply it to the right decision.
